Everyday items that influence layout and design

Here you'll find some pieces that I came across mainly at thrift stores and yard sales.
Angelic Demons:

All above pieces are papier-mache and stand approximately 12 inches.

The first angel was originally a brown color. I modified the wings by adding a pointy edge to the upper portions and added horns. Both additions were made from paper and masking tape. It's awaiting to be stone-speckled.

The gray angel was originally gold. I painted it a light gray flat latex with a brush and then stone speckled the piece first with white, followed by black and finally with a really light gray - all three colors were from spray cans with their spray tips drilled out.

The attached twin angels were also brown, only one of them had earned its horns and both earned being painted flat latex black with a brush.
I'll be applying a green patina to them.

Tacky Plastic Wall Adornments:

All above pieces are lightweight vacuum formed plastic material and stand over 12 inches with varying widths.

The first item is a candle holder. The top curvy lines are ideal for mimicking and transfering onto a polyfoam tombstone. The curves can be placed either on the face or the curves can be carved to create the top edge of the tombstone.

The yellow sconce appears to have contained a plastic plant. Again, the curvy lines can be traced onto your creations as I've done to modify the ends on my Crypt Sign.

The third and most hideous piece was a clock. There is one winged lion on each side of the circle and the entire piece has a shiny chrome finish. This item will look great once stone-speckled and placed above a crypt with an appropriate skull figure in the center of the circle.
